Do You Remember Maggie?
Maggie in November 2014- photos above
If you are a “regular” to our website, you probably will remember Maggie, the sad girl who came to us in November 2014. She had all those horrible growths on her stomach and was just in such rough shape. After a total mastectomy and spay, she was adopted. Maggie is now back with us in an attempt to diagnose/treat her skin infection on her face. So far, she is on antibiotics and anti-fungal medications and her skin is showing great improvement! Waiting on the pathologist report to see if we can determine the best route to help Maggie get better and stay better. This is just the sweetest dog ever.
We will keep you updated!
Update (1/29): Maggie continuing to heal. Official diagnosis is “Canine Leproid Granuloma” and “pyoderma” and a bad ear infection. She is on lots of antibiotics and showing great improvement.

Jackson has a new sister!
Introducing “Lily”, the 8 month old girl we just got in from Modesto. She was spayed and is now living with our own Eric and Lori Lynne. You will remember they recently lost their most special girl Priscilla (see earlier posts) and Jackson, their beautiful Harlequin rescue boy, was lonely. As soon as Lily came in, Eric and Lori Lynne scooped her up as a Christmas present to Jackson. Things are going well. Lucky Lily!
Katie
Never too early to get dressed for the holidays! Katie’s new family sent Karen this adorable photo with a little note: “Hi Karen – just wanted to wish you a Merry Christmas and let you know that Katie is doing well. We love having her as part of the family. She looks forward to our walks and barks at anyone coming onto the property.” Thanks to Gary, Maureen, Ryan, and Dieter for adopting Katie and providing her with a fantastic new home.
Amy
Amy celebrating her second birthday. So tolerant….She’s at the beach, she’s at the snow….wish I had her life! Lucky girl. From the pound to this wonderful existence. Her former owner threw her away and now she is so cherished. Thank you Marcia for adopting her.
