Happy Birthday Missy!

Elaina Hernandez, another long time adopter, sent us this note with great photos of her girl Missy’s birthday celebrations:

“My sweet Big Head aka my Missy Mittens had her 3rd Birthday this past week November 11th. We had the day off together due to Veteran’s day.
Tuesday she passed out party favors filled with Trader Joe’s cookies for her fellow daycare pups to enjoy and brought the daycare staff a human cake to celebrate her bday too.
Wednesday her actual birthday she started off with a pupachino from our favorite Starbucks and a morning walk on our rec trail next to beach. We visited our Vet office and she brought them a Birthday cake cake and Starbucks for a pick me up afternoon snack. And she had a pawdicure (nails trimmed).
She ended her evening with a vanilla cupcake with whip cream frosting. She loved wearing her Birthday bandana both days too. This girl had a great 3rd birthday I would have to say!

Elaina Hernandez and Missy Mittens

Elaina is one to never quit on a dog. Missy had some separation anxiety when she was adopted, and Elaina just kept working on it to the point where Missy is much more relaxed now. Thank you Elaina for putting in the time with Missy. Like alot of our wonderful adopters, Elaina knows that most rescue Danes come with some issues and need time to adapt and work things through.
