We received this wonderful note from Sabrina’s new family. All our thanks to Abe and Pritham (and Piper and Zack 🙂 for providing Sabrina such a fantastic new home!
Happy New Year!
Just wanted to let you know how well Sabrina is doing and send along a few photos. She gets along great with the other dogs; she loves patrolling and barking at things in the street with Piper the Cocker Spaniel and snuggling up with Zach the Husky. Her separation anxiety has also pretty much gone away, which I think is the result of her close bond with the other two. She’s the sweetest girl and we’re so thrilled she joined our family. We love her so much!
Thanks again for everything you do to rescue Great Danes!
Charli is happy with her new family, who also just welcomed a baby boy to their home ! Charli’s new family shared this lovely update:
I just wanted to update you on how things are going with Charli. We are absolutely in love with her and she is doing amazingly well with our family. I can’t believe how much she watches over our newborn son! We are so lucky to have Charli as a part of our family. If her previous owners reach out, please tell them she is doing great and is loved so much!
Lucky Kevin got to go on vacation at the beach with his new family ! That is one happy dog.
Kepler was a true gentleman meeting Eva. The family loved him. Now he will be joining them on their daily walks in Santa Cruz.
Thank you Bill for adopting another Dane!
Zara found her forever home through a Private Adoption. Fortunately with our waitlist of potential adopters, we were able to connect Noelle to Zara’s original family as soon as we got the surrender form.
Noelle provided an update, “She’s doing very well! She has adjusted well to our home and seems to thrive with routine. She’s started to fill in and grow and is now up to 96.5 pounds, up from 82 back in May. She’s doing great with positive reinforcement training and we are slowly socializing her and adding more people and dogs into her circle. We are just in love with Zara!”
Well it’s been a year since Lincoln has been adopted. He’s looking more handsome than ever. He loves Ella and Emmett, his canine companions. Lincoln never bother with the family’s birds and just recently discovered the iguana who has been with the family long before Lincoln was adopted. Was he just too busy with other things?
Another “happy home” update. Thank you Diana !
Blake relaxing after a long day on the farm. Michael added another alpaca to the group. We’ve lost track of all the critters, but happy to see they’re living their dream.
Thanks Michael for all you do!
Jackson has a lot of friends and one of his favorite people is Dr. Vanessa G B Rood of Napa Valley Equine. Here Jackson wraps up laser therapy to help reduce inflammation caused by a decade of chasing squirrels and jumping into the truck and onto the bed and sofa.
We’re often asked if Great Danes like water. The answer is “not particularly,” but then, there is Grace and Max. They love to play in the water. Thanks to Nikkie for sharing this great pic of her water dogs.
