Jack

 Thanks to Patti and her husband for offering Jack a wonderful home.  He came in a bit shy and afraid, but Patti saw the potential.  Jack now lives with three other dogs and is a happy boy.

Jill – Looking forward to her 10th birthday!

Another batch of superb photos!  Thanks to Audrey and her family for keeping in touch and letting us know how Jill is doing.  Here is what Audrey wrote:

“To say I adore Jill is an understatement – she is so very special.  She has been such a blessing to our family.  Her health has been super! and she has terrific energy to go about being my shadow all day ..lol.  Jill will celebrate her 10th birthday in December.  Here are some photos of Sweet Jill Pickle!  I know I’ve told you before, but I can’t thank you enough for her.  Think of us when a good match comes along.  I’ll keep watching my facebook…)

Gracie (formerly Ruby) Camping

Obviously, Gracie is living the good life!  Here is what her owner Maxine wrote to us:

“Gracie is doing fantastic.  We love her so much.  She went with us on her first camping trip and did great!  I will always be grateful for you making Gracie a part of our lives and for all the work you put in to make these adoptions possible.”

We are just thrilled that this wonderful Dane has an equally wonderful owner!

Lexie’s Two Year Adoption Anniversary

A note from Lexie’s owner:

“Hello Colleen:  Just thought I would drop a note as we are getting close to our two year adoption anniversary for my best friend Lexie (previously Rosie).  She is absolutely the most wonderful being that has ever come into my life and I love her more than anything.  During the week we are both at work at the spay/neuter clinic.  She’s the doggy ambassador and has saved two lives with blood donations. On the weekends we hike and adventure.  She is the PERFECT hiking companion and is still ready to go even after 8-9 miles.  Her favorite thing ever is chasing sticks into the lake and carrying them down the trail.  About six months ago I rescue an 11 year old Dane boy who has become her best friend.  She also has a cat named Forrest (trust me, its HER cat) and enjoys fostering (and cleaning) baby kitties.  Thank you again from the bottom of my heart for entrusting her to me.  She is my best friend.”  Cassie H.

Cassie sent me tons of SUPERLATIVE photos, it was hard to choose which ones to post.  But here are just a few.  To say Lexie lives the good life is an understatement…  (and how sweet that Cassie adopted an 11 year old Great Dane.  Not many people will.  Good for you Cassie!)

Emerson – All Grown Up

Adopted as a teenager, Emerson is looking every bit the handsome Great Dane we knew he would become.  Thanks to Despina, Theo, and family for adopting him!
