Arya At Home – Working it Out!

Arya At Home – Working it Out!

20150719_081100Thanks to Sean, Illene, Meghan and Connor for adopting Arya and hanging in there20150719_144608 with some hitches in her settling in.  They are working on making her a dog Connor, their son and daughter Meghan can walk.  We appreciate them not giving up on her and training her to be a good companion for Connor in the neighborhood.  Sometimes it is not a seamless transition to a new home, and we LOVE people who don’t automatically bail on the new Dane, but know it might take a bit of training to get a dog that fits your lifestyle.  Thanks Sean!

Obi (formerly Dutch)

IMG_0734IMG_0731IMG_0621Obi’s owner made the comment when he came to adopt Obi/Dutch, that he had attempted six times previously to contact us about adopting a specific Dane we posted, only to find out they were already spoken for.  He FINALLY was first to call and ended up with this really gorgeous boy.  His perseverence paid off!  Thanks Henry for sticking in there!

Gracie in her new home

IMG_1113IMG_1062IMG_1065From Gracie’s new owner:  “I just wanted to give you an update on Gracie.  She is fantastic.  She has fit right into our family without any problem.  She loves my husband and if he is home she is always with him.  We have always had a gate in the hall that leads to the bedrooms.  Gracie is the only Great Dane we have had that realizes that she can step over it!  She is super sweet and really calm.  We love her.  Thank you so much for making it possible.”  Thea
